Immediate Signs of Pregnancy After Conception

Is it possible to learn you are pregnant before missing your cycle? For most women who have been trying to conceive, and are familiar with taking their basal body temperature, they may notice fluctuations in their basal temperature at the time of ovulation. When the temperature remains high after ovulation and remains high when your period should arrive again could be one of the earliest possible signs of pregnancy. Learning how to chart your Basal body temperature is quite simple and can be accomplished with many over the counter products.

Increase in the Basal Body Temperature: One of the surest and immediate signs of pregnancy before missed periods is the increase in the body’s core temperature. Women, who keep track of the fertile days in the month, know that the basal body temperature increases during the ovulation period. This temperatures fall to its baseline before the start of the menstrual cycle. In case the temperatures remains persistently high for fourteen days or more, it might signal a pregnancy.

Nausea  (morning sickness) – This tends to last for only the first trimester and usually in the morning when you get up. However, that being said, nausea can happen at any time of the day and can last throughout the whole pregnancy. Try setting your alarm a few minutes early and remain still in bed for a few minutes before getting up. Some say soda crackers before rising can help. For some women, nothing helps… sorry. :(

Another early sign of pregnancy is missing your period. Some women have irregular periods. A wide variety of factors can be responsible for irregular periods, among them:Significant weight gain or loss, chemotherapy, medications, stress, caffeine, drug use, smoking, too much exercise, poor nutrition, and eating disorders. Most of the time, missing a period is a common sign of being pregnant.

Frequent Urination:  If a woman finds herself often visiting the rest room, she must check for her pregnancy. The excessive urination is because of a hormone termed human chorionic gonadotropin also called Hcg. If you visit the doctor, first he will ask the woman for the lab test to check the presence of Hcg in the urine. Many women have a misconception that frequent urination is because of the increased pressure of the fetus on bladder. The case is true in the third trimester of pregnancy. Soon after conception the fetus is not bigger than an inch so it does not put pressure on fetus. The excessive urination is because of the increased hormonal activity.
